Android mail apps

Move suspicious messages into one reporting folder.

Use the same Report to Meilo folder from Gmail or another Android mail app. The original stays in the connected mailbox for evidence collection.

Report one email in Gmail

  1. Open the suspicious message without opening its links or attachments.
  2. Open the three-dot menu and choose Move to.
  3. Select Report to Meilo under the same mail account.

Report several emails

  1. Press and hold one message, then select the other messages in the campaign.
  2. Open the menu and choose Move to.
  3. Select Report to Meilo.

Other Android mail apps

Look for Move, Move to folder or Change folder. The folder must be under the connected account. If the app hides server folders, enable folder synchronization in that account's settings.

Spam and reporting do different jobs

Marking a message as spam helps train the mailbox filter. Moving it to Report to Meilo starts the evidence workflow. You may use both actions when the app permits it, but the reporting folder is the instruction Meilo watches.

The reporting folder appears after the mailbox has been connected and validated. The public website never asks for your mailbox password.
